they should , they are the same sizes, only made of stainless steel.....I just tried and put the "large hole" one and it fit a 3 digit flatop 44 mag, ,the early one with the stud in the barrel.......
I'll take one, but I don't know which hole size I need. The head of my screw measures .217" diameter. Is this large or small?
Also, could you verify that the housing length is correct for my NM Blackhawk? It should be 4" OAL, and from the center of the screw hole to the shoulder where the housing butts up against the front of the cylinder frame, it should measure 3.62"
I appreciate your help!
Edit: I just looked closer at your pics, and it appears the housings are not drilled for the mounting screw. I guess they are designed for the installer to match drill them to the gun? This is not a problem, as long as you can send me the one with the correct size hole where the screw head goes through.
they are already drilled and fit to size, the large hole one is for the bigger bore guns that have the "stud" out on the barrel that the screw goes into, the small hole, just uses the screw to go straight into the barrel, there is ONLY a small hole in the barrel......soooooo, if there is NO stud on YOUR guns barrel, you need the one with the small hole.........
