you can send me an e-mail with the measurements of the cylinder that is in your gun now, otherwise one has to "try", see how it fits and where it would 'need' any fitting if needed...........

I have 1" 11/16 if you go.side.to side and and 2" 4/8 front to back counting the two parts sticking out of the cylinder the cylinder is self is 1" 7/8

this one measures 1.960 overalll, end to end, the diameter is 1.732" and the 'body' length is 1.640Inch ,seems slightly larger than yours , is yours a NEW , new moodel, made after 2005??? they are dimensionally smaller that the standard New Model post 1973................the window in the cylinder frame is smaller on the newer guns........ plus one has to figure in the barrel set back , into the window opening at the front.....all need to be taken into consideration when buying ,fitting, a new cylinder..............

Mine on the backstrap says BASS LIMITED EDITION 1981
I called Ruger records and they told me it was made in 1981 and yes it is a new model
