Even More 500 Maximum

I sighted my 500 Maximum at 100 yards today just to see how it would do. With the top of the front sight held just at the bottom of the plate it did this:

I looked through the spotting scope and couldn't believe what I saw. And yes, I stopped after 3 shots.

The load was my standard 38.0 of AA1680 with a 525 WFN. I'm shocked at the accuracy potential of this cartridge. Always knew it was ultimate sledgehammer but never thought it would be a tack-driver. Boy is it proving me wrong.

Holy Cow! Lee, you did some fine work there, my Friend. I don't think I'd have the nerves to "trip the trigger" on that one. Makes shooting a "full house" .454 look like a .38 Special!

My knuckle still aches after the last photo you showed of your knuckle. How you don't have a flinch is beyond me, great shooting.

Thanks guys but don't think I can reproduce that group at will. As for my knuckle, some heavy flex bandage under a glove solved the problem.
