Could someone explain "end shake" for me and how to check it? I'm sure it's me but when I search for it using the search feature everything in the world comes up. Thanks for the help!

It's the distance the cylinder can travel fore and aft.
It is most commonly measured by using feeler guages to determine the B/C gap demension at either extreme, and them subtracting the most from the least.

Hope I said all that so's it was understandable.

With the cylinder/gate closed, and the gun in complete lockup (trigger and hammer both held to the rear).
