Thought the sale of ivory grips not attached to a firearm interstate was no longer allowed. Also wonder given price if this is really the OP...
Whoever might be thinking about this classifieds ad, I highly recommend you make sure it's the ACRYLICTNK who has been on here for years. His account was hacked early this year and it was caught.

it is not illegal to own Ivory in the USA. its illegal to import ivory after the date of made illegal. and thats only Elephant Ivory. if the ivory is already state side from being prior imported. its legal to own, to display, make arts and crafts, gun grips, earings ect, ect.

I agree it's legal to own and craft, but I believe the rules for interstate commerce changed around 2016. From US FWS, to qualify for a de minimus exception, among other items:
"The ivory is a fixed or integral component or components of a larger manufactured or handcrafted item and is not in its current form the primary source of the value of the item, that is, the ivory does not account for more than 50% of the value of the item"
Thus I believe the current holding is that ivory grips attached to a valuable firearm are fine, but ivory grips by themselves not so much.
Just informational, anyone is welcome to conduct business as they please.
Seem like a self inflicted wound here, you have something legal you own in the USA, but you can ship across state lines? seems counterproductive to the commerce clause, where it states its illegal to STOP commerce across state lines (products or services) unless its illegal or unlawful practice or item. this item where talking about is not illegal to own in the USA. defies logic...

Who repaired the grips and what type of glue did they use. Lastly those cracks in the corners are because of the location pin holes were too small or in the wrong place. Do you have any pics with the grips on a gun with the pins in place to see if that has been addressed

I remember when he was hacked before. I personally am using the recommended two factor authentication here now... he needs to do the same thing. It's easy enough to log in with ID and password... and then the generated number from the Authy app. Should be a requirement to buy and sell in the Classifieds.
