ejector rod stud

I'm sure this has been answered before,but I'm going to ask,my ejector rod stud came off yesterday while doing some shooting and I won't to know if I can fix it my self,is it brazed on or what thank's.

That has happened a few times to be sure.

If it's a blued gun, brazing can cause discoloration, and result in a bad looking gun. Now,,, some folks have carefully cleaned everything, and added JB Weld to one & fixed the stud w/o major issues. Others have sent them to Ruger for a Factory repair. Ruger will often do this, w/o charge, and if you ask politely, send you a pre-paid shipping label so it won't cost you anything. Give them a call maybe?

What part are you talking about? The stud that hold the ejector housing? Or the end of the ejector rod itself?
