Reading "Keith, An Autobiography" and there is a photo labeled as a Ruger Dragoon. Was this the original name of the Super Blackhawk?

Yep,, I think Elmer was the person who coined the name as it applied to Rugers. BUT,, that name was around a long time before Elmer was. But it mostly refers to the grip frame shape as Elmer had suggested to Bill.

I was aware of the Dragoon name. One of my daughter's has a reproduction model of one. Big heavy monster that uses half a flask of powder in each chamber of the cylinder.
