Caught this sob on camera havin' a late night snack on my beans. Apparently he found a hole in the fence. Chore for today - find the hole, replant the beans. :x

Out here in the County, and especially on your own property, there are no restrictions on caliber or ammo. I might stake out the garden tonite for awhile with my old gill gun.

Looking at the title of this thread one might think this is a story about a German rabbit.

Don't care what his nationality is. :) If I can see him, i can hit him. Not much moon tonite tho, till past my bedtime, so I might not get a shot at all.

Hi,

Hasenpfeffer on the hoof! A not too distant cousin's wife was of German extraction and would have known exactly what to do with that guy once he was removed from the garden... Good stuff!

Havahart trap, trash an full of water. Silent but deadly.

Hmmm, better a sharp rap on the back of the neck with a broom handle followed by skinning & boiling in oil. The latter better known as frying... Baking powder biscuits, mashed potatoes & milk gravy. Don't let the critter forget you are on top of the food chain.

I suspect there is a lot more of them where he came from.

No doubt. See them fairly often during the day, but never seem to have a gun handy. Anyway, no bunny tonite. Gave it up a few minutes ago. Might try again tomorrow.

That would not be safe. Someone might mistake him for a roid laden washed up comic.
