Being new around these parts, I've been refraining from comment, but -

I've known 3 SEALs in my life, and not one of them ever announced it or told me anything about it outside of rare offhand comments that would've gone unnoticed had I not known the context. In each of their cases I was clued in secondhand by someone else who had some background on them. Just sayin'.
