Is this the same 5.7mm that the FN five seven comes in?

No this is quiet different than the FN 5.7. What this is! is a necked down 30 carbine to a .22 cal. they also call this 5.7 Johnson, or 5.7 MMJ and I have also heard them call it .22 Spitfire.
