I talked with Ruger reps at SHOT this morning, they said no .22LR LCRx 3" in the works!

I told them they had customers waiting! They agreed it would be a good seller, but they were offering SP101 as alternative... too heavy was my response!

The target American rimfire looked good, no plans for stainless models yet!

When I wrote to "ask the CEO" they said it was in the works. This was over a year ago.

I took a survey from Ruger yesterday, and one of the choices under guns we would like to see them make, was a .22 cal.CCW
revolver.

Interesting.

I would think the LCR .22 pretty much fills the CCW role already, but I'd like a 3" LCRx with adjustable sights. They already build one in .38 and I like it a lot, but a .22 would be just as sweet, IMO.

IIRC, the frame size/material is the same for .38 and .22, so seems a .22 wouldn't take that much design work.

I'd go for 22mag before 22r. But then why could they not make a convertible model ......
