I know that most around here have SO MANY Rugers that you can't keep count, but I have varying tastes & don't have a collection as I'm just a Mear 56 years old
I have H&Ks, Glocks, SIGs, Taurus, S&W/M&Ps & ONE RUGER a 2 1/4" SP101 357

One you say? Be careful, they add up fast. :D

The 10/22 must be on you list, eh? ;)

I had foolishly sold off my 3 10-22s. Then some guy had a walnut/blue 50th for $150 and I broke my rule not to buy a Ruger built after Bill's death. He had bought it and then decided he didn't like shooting - he seemed normal other than that. Shoots fine but I still prefer the old ones with metal parts and a finish that isn't just paint.

I have HAD many BUT sold them all to fund living & pay my way through life...
Now that I am retired & living on minimal cash they come very slowly
Don't even have a 10/22 anymore
A Ruger MKII was my 1st Ruger & a 10/22 was 2nd
IIRC right around 1987 I was 21
There is a lot to be said for owning your own home instead of renting
I rented for 35+ years

Found a Volquartzen trigger kit for a MKII 22 + extractors etc. & a 10/22 boat paddle stock from an all weather stainless
Hope to find an older 10/22 stainless with aluminum trigger group to put in this stock, also found three aluminum barrel bands two blued one silver

I live in a 175,000 3 story house built in 1956 & have the corner lot & life is good
My twin brother died 3/18/21 in my basement where he was living after having a stroke in 2019
Older brother died Thanksgiving Day 2020
I am the only one left = Last Man Standing...

In my humble opinion, Less is Better.

Knowing how easily influenced I am, I promised myself about 50 years ago that I would not buy more guns that I could fit (in a displayed mode) in one gun safe.

But that's just me.... I equally understand "collections"... and, collectors (some of the people I enjoy associating with (here :) ) might be considered "collectors" ....)

10/22 I know full well what you mean, I too have outlived all my brothers in law, all my partners from our first gun back in the 1970s as well as the gunsmiths we had, last shop of the 3 we had, its just me and Walt left, and hes' too ornery to leave yet,,,we say we still got work to be done..
as for guns since doing gun shows starting in 1963 and still today, I've had ,owned, and sold off more than one can even START to imagine, and to this day I've only kept 5 of them, thats it, just 5 Rugers.........;)

I looked at a discounted SIG P365XL today with red dot
Going back tomorrow to look again
It's talking to me
I put that SIG Sauer P365XL on layaway
P365XL I.jpg P365XL IIII.jpg P365XL III.jpg
It was the SIG or a Ruger LCP/LCPII or SR9c, I made the right choice
Ruger doesn't always win out around here
Still looking for a small pocket pistol

LGS has a LCP used in 380 @ $189
They also have a NEW LCPII for $250 in 22lr

Don't know about 22lr for concealed carry
