cosmetic issues with Lipsey's 44 run?

Well, I would say you get what you pay for... I don't hold Ruger to the same fit and finish standards that I would expect from USFA, for example, or a custom gunsmith because I'm paying about half to a third of what I would for guns from USFA or Bowen.

For its intended use I would buy it. But...I understand how you feel about buying something pre-dinged. I don't mind dings and scratches on my working gun...as long as they are MY dings and scratches.

Not to beat a dead horse, but all the USFA rodeos I've seen (at $549) have been flawless from a metal finish standpoint. And they are made here, with the same expensive labor. The USFA matte blue isn't my thing, but I guess that's where they save money over the dinged but well-blued Ruger.

For it's purpose, the little dings don't matter. It's just a peeve. Like deac45 said, the dings should me mine!
