colt new frontier

I think what Cholo is referring to is the difference between case hardened vs. case colored. The former is an actual tempering process, whereas the latter is superficial coloring only. If it is case colored, it would be like the relatively inexpensive Cowboy that Colt offered a few years ago, not like the original New Frontier. Caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware.

I've waited for USFA to come out with a New Frontier clone. Colt is now making the real thing and I wanted one. When I heard they case colored it and saw the pics... :?
