I have three Rugers that I love. They are two from my Dad, and one 200th Year that I bought new the day that I turned 18. I need a trip-color Lightweight bad.
I have put the bulk of my collecting energy into Colt 1911's. Once I had five, I lost my mind. In a flurry of purchasing energy and a dwindling amount of mad money I find myself with 27. Well, 26, because I actually parted with one today, but I sold it for enough that I find myself looking at three more.
What is wrong with me? I only have two that I shoot, and 17 of them are boxed/unfired. I think that I am crazy, and if my wife didn't have a shoe/clothing addiction I'm certain that I would have been single and poor long ago.
Is there any hope for me, or is it an endless train that will only end with my Brother's kids holding a really wild Colt auction. Please help. The two Colts that I love to shoot, and my Rugers are the only firearms in my posession that make any sense at all. Most of the unfired Colts are original Series 70's, and the rest are World War 2 and older.
Help.
