Well, this may not seem like a big deal, but I broke my Ruger coffee cup that I have had for probably 20 years! One with the S for Sturm and the R for Ruger inside the Ruger emblem. Can't get them with the S anymore!

:( There were several styles. What did yours look like?
It was white with the SR in the middle of the red emblem. You would think in all those years I would have a pic of it, but alas, I don't think I do.

I hate to lose a favorite coffee cup! One that is just the right size, handle correctly proportioned, and with a favorite logo or saying or even just a good color... I've dropped too many getting out of the truck because I insist on a "real" coffee cup even in the vehicle. I appreciate how the insulated tumblers keep it hot but I just don't enjoy drinking from them nearly as much as a good ceramic cup.

Sorry about your Ruger cup. Bummer.

I dropped and shattered my NCO club mug from the 748th AC&W Squadron a couple years ago. Really griped me being so clumsy those are few and rare.

It makes me kind of sad to see the whole radar facility gone as well as the FAA station and our houses and shops gone as well. It's odd, my grandparents house burned down, long after they passed, my parents house burned, my house in Ketchkan that I rebuilt has been torn down to make room for a hospital expansion... Seems my past is disappearing I hope it's not some evil government agency after me.

Can't get anything with the S/R anymore. Really???? You mean the hats and T-shirts are gone? The badges and glasses are gone? The decals are gone? No more patches or pins? ...oh my!!!!!!!

Try ebay or the classifieds.

Jimbo, on the Sturm-Ruger website there are all kinds of T-shirts available . . . but none of them have the old "S/R" trademark, just the "R".

If you look close, it's the same across the entire line, right down to the grip medallions in the handguns.

Disgusting!

THANK YOU! Just another reason I love this forum better than any on the internet. Fine folks like JussBad!

Broke the handle off one of my favorite coffee mug years ago.

It was given to me by a previous girlfriend back in 1986.

Had a live-in girlfriend that wanted to toss it, tossed the live-in instead.

Current wife of 26 years has no problem with it, so it has been "repurposed" as a pencil holder.

Cup reads "You are twisted, preverted and sick. I like that in a guy".

That chick was fun, but became a little looney as time went on.

I'll have to look to see what SR items are around the house. Hopefully some value (which I won't part with). My favorite coffee mug says; "I went to school for years to learn to do THIS?". Classic at work. Boss isn't as impressed.

Your post caused me to check my cup. Mine has an all black logo, with only the "R". Newer one, I guess?

. I have a white SR cup, but with black handle. Too bad “S” was removed.

This whole thread made me go check my cups and mugs. Pretty sure I have 'em all except a couple of the current ShopRuger offerings. Anyone have a visual list of all of 'em?

I think Ruger shooters would collect anything associated with this remarkable name! Next will be the test brass that used to be sent in new boxes.

For me, the "stuff" is funner to go after and brings more :) than the firearms do now. I think at this point the firearms would be more affordable.

Gun prices are going down. Ruger's new low priced version of the EC9 is a bargain at less than $250 and I've seen an advertisement for the LCPII at $179. These are very good prices for a quality handgun.

I for one would rather most of, nay, make that all non-firearm product just go with the Eagle logo - no letter at all.
Let's make things simple.

I don't worship at the grave of WBR, but he did recognize the eagle logo,, and I don't think he would approve of the marketing pinhead new-coke "rebranding" of the logo that built his company.

By the way, the current ceramic 'campfire mug' is one of the best they've ever sold... IMHO.

Just went back to Rugers. I have several single actions but no long guns.

Broke my arm in three places last Sept, so I dropped to a 20 gauge Red Label from 1982-3. Borrowed one once and I loved it! Will be selling my 12 gauges!
