I live in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. It was in the City of Waukesha that a man chose to drive his suv through a group of people performing in the annual Christmas parade. Six people were killed and I believe 50 or so were injured. I don't know how much news of this has been reported outside of this area but the locals have been following the trial closely. The accused is acting as his own attorney and seems to be trying to delay the proceedings every chance he gets. I believe the evidence is overwhelming and hopefully he will never again see the light of day.

I've been watch some of the trial on COURT TV. The accused seems intelligent, but has a fool for a lawyer but deserves no better. (Much like furgeson, The Long Island Railroad shooter.) He combative, thinks he's running the show & the judge has threatened & may have removed him from the court room.

RC44Mag is onto it. I think it was his plan all along to act as his own lawyer and act out so later on an appeal could be filed based upon incompetent legal defense and/or reduced mental capacity.
