Are they still selling ammo?
Did they get booted out?
I can't seem to find any real American made ammo anymore...for popular 38 special, 357 9mm etc
Did the the govt action work?

Been to their site lately? I just saw Blazer, American Eagle, Magsafe, 38 Special in stock. Atomic and Federal in 357 Mag. American Eagle, Federal, Blazer, PMC in 45 ACP. Federal, PMC, Speer in 9mm. Winchester, PMC, and 5.56 Nato, in 5.56/.223. PMC, Federal, Remington in 30-06.

I'm not familiar with any government action (conspiracy) to do away with ammo. First I've heard of it....

I have noticed a reduction in availability in ammo during the last year. I am surprised you did not notice a reduction in availability.
Strange indeed.

What could it be?!?!?!?

"I am surprised you did not notice a reduction in availability."

We've all noticed. There has been -- and still is -- an ongoing ammo "shortage" for any number of probably-not-very-good reasons over the past year or more.

Old news.

For many sites/on line vendors there has been zero ammo available for several months. Compared to a year ago (pre panic), nope they're not up to normal levels. FWIW it took me three weeks to find 30 cal. bullets and two months to find powder. I ordered some plated 9mm and 45 ACP bullets in March that didn't arrive until June. Some components aren't available yet, but it's getting better. Not notice??? ..

wow.

These responses are the same reason I am abandoning a similarly named forum.
Folks, get a grip...you rights are gone. The 2nd A is toast.
I cannot buy online 38 special 158g practice ammo.
DUH!
It's been a year and they don't even SELL it anymore!
Later folks, this is the wrong community for me.

I guess reality isn't bad enough for some. They gotta make things weird by turning overwhelming demand for ammo into a govt conspiracy. About the only ammo I have trouble finding right now at decent prices is .22 lr which is expected since every citizen has at least two .22's and can't reload it. If the liberal govt could take away our access to ammo they already would have. It is in their agenda yes, but so far they have not found a way to close that door. If you are so much more "informed", and "proactive" than the rest of us and therefore bailing out, then how come you are the only one without ammo to shoot in your guns? I guess you didn't see this coming 10-15 years ago like everyone else and set yourself up with enough components to fill your needs. My guess is this guy lives in New York or California where his rights are gone and he is in panic mode!

That's too bad (for you, not for me). I looked in CTD's site and quoted some 38 Specials for sale. You're not looking or looking in the wrong place. Have a nice trip...

fine. Feel free to pay over a dollar a round for 9 mm.

When some of you folks get a few years older, you will, (hopefully), realize you have been had by your government. Call me a conspiracy theriost, but, check back in two to three years and make that same claim.

Don't say we never tried to enlighten you.

Shucks, I can hardly stand up straight now when I get out of bed, how old do I have to be? The Clinton administration caused the same panic buying with the original assault weapons ban and now it's happening again. Some thought it would pass in a few months but I don't see it ever being the same. Shooters are going to need deeper pockets and the reloaders and casters are going to be the ones who shoot the most. There isn't a conspiracy that I can see and if it is, it's not working. Sales of ammunition and firearms have sky rocketed and with that means more operating capital for the manufacturers. They'll catch up but prices won't be the same. 1968 wasn't any different.

Well, sounds to me like a troll with a frog in his pocket...

I haven't heard anyone this far out since "they" changed from generic, store brand tin foil hat material to premium grade Reynolds stuff...
