Can someone point me to some torque specs please?

Emailed Ruger, but never got a reply. Are there any action torque specs listed anywhere for the following rifles???

Ruger 77/44 magnum
Ruger 77/22 Hornet
Ruger 10/22

For me, it's "snug". I wouldn't even worry about any precise factory setting unless the rest of the gun had been upgraded a LOT.

just watched the rifle vids in the Tech Tip section.
only heard 3 torques
scope ring to base 30 in/lb
scope ring screws 20 in/lb
M77 floor plate to stock 95 in/lb

all the rest were mentioned as "snug"

That 95"lbs is for the diagonal screw only.

Damn, and I just mounted a scope to my Scout Rifle on Saturday, I wish I had seen that video first. I used 25 in-lbs on the base screws and 15-18 on the ring screws, I guess that's close enough. I didn't think about tightening and loosening the base screws like the video shows to center them in the slots, hopefully that doesn't matter much.

Same here, I've never had an issue except with a MKIII that I had a heavy red dot sight on that would loosen up after 5-7 magazines. I eventually had to loctite it and I really don't like doing that.

Loctite is good medicine.

Think about when getting a 100K on a car was something. even then, the gaskets were replaced a couple times no less.

with loctite, getting a 100K is the norm with not even a gasket tighting

What type of Loctite are you referring to? If you use Blue, there will never be a need for a torch. Red is another story.
