Nikon guy here. Love em all!

I have a traditionally mounted 2-7x32 on my scout rifle. It fits nice and low on my rifle and clears the picatinny scout rail. I want to keep the scout rail cause I can mount gadgets on there if I need to. Don't want to remove it. Don't want to put tall rings on the rifle. But see where more magnification would be beneficial.

Enter he Burris timberline. I see they make one in 4.5-14x32. I'm thinkin that would fit, and still give me the low mounted, lightweight setup I have now and give me LOTS more magnification at the same time.

Anyone have any experience with this scope?

I have one on my #1 K1A in 35 whelen, I got it for the same reasons, works great, clarity is superb, in my mind it is a real bargain.

Have one mounted on a lipsey's .257 w/ medium rings. Makes a nice compact unit, and the optics are good.

I spent today popping away with mine on an Encore in 300 Win Mag - plenty of eye relief is helpful on a 6 lb 300 WM and the Burris has it. The 32 mm objective gives you a little bit of tunnel vision, but it's easily gotten used to. Very clear, well made - I think it really works great on smaller rifles or for low mounting.
