Browning B-92's

Finally got a couple of smooth action Browning B-92 leverguns. The 44 Mag in the foreground is pretty nice, while the 357 in the back needs lots of stock work but is mechanically perfect.......... I love these versions of the venerable Winchester 1892. They are so much more refined and smooth. A joy to shoot! Sorry for the poor pics!

Nice, Dave!!! I've looked for a .357 mag version for a few years. Never have come across one. Have seen probably 5-6 of the .44's.

Nice! I don't believe I've even handled one of the Browning versions. I've got a couple of old Winchester 1892's and the size and style are just "right" for a lever gun. I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for a B92. Thanks for sharing!

Man! I kick myself every time I remember one I passed up at a gun show. It was a 44 Magnum and had a rear flip up sight like came on the Browning 1886 Saddle Ring Carbine (another one I sold and regret!). I have never seen another B-92 with that sight!! Ouch.....

I had one of the .44s, traded it for the first 4" 629 I saw (yes, a P&R 629 no dash that I should still have). The Browning 92s are sweet!

I am a big fan of the Browning 92's in .357 Magnum. They are accurate and easy to pack. The craftsmanship is superb. I like using a load of Lil Gun and the Hornady 180 gr. XTP bullet. This load works well in my Marlin 1894C as well.

Cant beat a small frame lever carbine for everyday work in the field.

The Marlin 1895 and Browning 1886 Carbine in 45-70 loaded with IMR 3031 and a Beartooth cast lead bullet will take care of the bigger jobs.
