Brian Pearce on the USFA

I spotted this video over on the website where the Big Dawgs hangout; I thought it should be shared with all of us here. It's LONG (over 45 mins) but Brian Pearce does a good job of telling the USFA story from beginning to end (with a bit more detail than I would require). Enjoy the info & pics.

I wish the camera work was better and they would show the inside "square" vs "triangle"
I respect Brian Pearce, but sometimes I have a hard time following him.

I'd have never guessed that Ruger made their 44 Special barrels! I still kick myself for not buying a couple of their 44 Specials. I came so close so many times, but I always thought there would be a tomorrow

Ditto on Brian. His Handloader articles are perfect, but his talks could be tighter. He's real.

Thanks. I’ll watch this over coffee this weekend. Bought a USFA SAA in 44-40, modestly engraved, with my birth date as the serial number to reward myself for a mind-numbing soul-stealing assignment at the Pentagon. Then had Paul Persinger hand fit elephant ivory grips to her. Phenomenally accurate revolver and purty as a prairie flower.

Have read great info from Brian for decades, hold a great deal of trust & respect for him, & would like to know more of the USFA story.

But dang it! the vid is very hard for me to watch. some posters here being too kind. Maybe another day.
