Hello from Ohio! I recently bought my first Ruger firearm and found this site by searching for factory and after-market sights for my new PC Carbine. It only came with a front rail and shotgun style bead to attach to the barrel handguard, and no rear sight at all. Damn... with recent postings (e.g. "Bearcat") and this one, I'm starting to notice these old Ruger boxes. They are attractive.
Even though I started buying guns 35+ years ago, none of the boxes I have are really as interesting as the older ones. My Ruger MKII box is nice (yellow), but I put an oily thumbprint on it last year :-(
