For sale is a Bowen built OM Flattop, originally a .357 converted to .38-40.
The Bowen invoice lists the following

The gun was built on Serial # 26428 OM FT .357, 4-5/8" barrel, in 2008 for another forum member. If my memory serves, he never fired the gun and so far, neither have I. The only flaws I can find are one side of the hammer exhibits rubbing in the CCH and there is porosity on one area on the trigger guard/grip frame beneath the Black T finish Bowen had applied to the gripframe. This porosity shows up quite well in the photo - looks less obvious in person. I hadn't noticed it until this week.
Bowen's invoice totals $1120 with Persinger's receipt showing $460. Current cost for Bowen's work runs about $1500 and I haven't heard a recent quote from Paul. Nice flattops are a bargain in the $700 range so the cost of replicating this revolver would be north of $2700. I'm going to list it at $2300 with shipping from an individual to an FFL included. EDIT: Grips are elephant ivory by Paul Persinger. Original Ruger grips, refinished by Bowen, will be included.
