Carrying either my Glock 32 or my Ruger .44 Sheriff's Model has shown me that I need to lose ten (OK, twenty!) pounds to make things, um, comfortable. By the end of the day my back hurt, and suspenders are almost always a neccesity due to my "mature" physique. Two ruptured dics doesn't help any either!

The end result was a concealed carry pistol that would sometimes be home in the safe when it should have been on my belt protecting the family (not to mention my own somewhat worthless hide).

So I bought myself a pocket rocket LC9 at Lee's 1-2-3 Pawn a day or two ago. It is just one ounce over a pound, carries eight rounds of nine em-em including the one up the pipe, and fits my little paws admirably. Also is quite comfortable for the wife's hands although I think THAT fantasy will end the first time she lights one off! She prefers her .32 Mag J-frame as a heavy carry weapon......

Have to check it out for a couple of hundred rounds at the range then find a small belt scabbard and I am good to go! No excuse for not having it at all times, even in the summer.....
