Downsizing and no longer need either of these knives. They wound up being too pretty to use. Probably gets said a lot about higher end knives.

BOTH KNIVES SOLD. THANK YOU!

1. NOW $475 SHIPPED.....Randall 1-6. Bought it from the original owner who waited a few years on the list and then sold it as soon as he got it. He said he hadn't sharpened it or put it in the sheath. Neither have I. Tool steel blade. Comes with original pouch, sheath, stone, and manual. The manual has gotten kind of folded and crumpled from being in the pouch. $525 shipped fully insured in the US.

2. NOW $375 SHIPPED.....Rare F. E. Weber Loveless style drop point hunter. Closest thing I've owned to a vintage Loveless (but I still dream). Weber was an old school master New Jersey knifemaker who operated up until the 1980s, maybe early 1990s, best I have been able to tell. He was born in 1911. He started making knives in the 40s during WWII when he was stationed at Quantico. Was told when I bought it it was D2 tool steel. Weber was known for using D2. Westinghouse micarta scales. Nickel silver hilt and bolsters. The knife is in very nice condition. The blade has some very fine scratches in a few places that I couldn't photograph and you have to have good eyes and the right light to see. It does need sharpening for use, but I'm not sure if it has been used or sharpened since being new. The micarta has some fine scratches that are easier to see than on the blade. Comes with the original sheath. The sheath is nice and in solid using shape, but has a bit of fine surface cracking from being flexed as the knife is inserted and withdrawn. Still very, very supple. Weber often numbered his knives. This knife is numbered 17C. I don't know what the C stands for, but I have seen one other drop point hunter numbered 14C, so perhaps the C refers to the style of the knife. The sheath is numbered W17. Weber knives usually sell for nothing since people don't know what they are or sell for several hundred dollars up over $1,000 between knowledgeable folk. You can have this one for $475 shipped fully insured.
