Bolt replacement. I bought a new in box old stock m77 mark ii 243 off Guns America and picked it up today from my FFL. I was stoked until i tried to insert the bolt. Didn't fit. It's a long action bolt and the serial numbers don't match. I called the seller and he basically said too bad, call Ruger. Am i screwed? Can i get a replacement bolt from anywhere? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The seller should take it back if that is what you want. If he doesn't I would file some very negative reviews.

What the seller did is unethical. I have been selling on GunBroker since 2008 with 950 A+ feedbacks. He gives us all a bad name.

That seller is a douche bag. Negative feedback is in order. I would not call that rifle new old stock at all. Call Ruger. They will probably be more than happy to get you the correct bolt, but I bet they have you send the rifle in to fit it properly and verify it works with no other issues.

Update, called Ruger and explained what happened, they apologized to me, sent UPS to pick up the rifle at my house at their cost they are going to fit a brand new bolt and send it back ro me at no cost!! Best customer service i have experienced anywhere. Ruger has always been my favorite rifle but now one of my favorite companies.
