Was wandering the OGCA aisles this afternoon, taking in the scenery. Man, there were a lotta Old Model Rugers there.

Saw a really nice .357 Flattop. Great condition, a set of nice but non-Ruger stags, and an appropriate box. It was in the 6XXX range, and carried a price of $1350. Type I, likely shipped in August of 1956.

Yep, Bob would have enjoy that. I'm sure he would have carefully studied it to see if anything stood out as odd or different.

Had heard of it, but the guy who bought our BKH 3 ,in the box, mint shape ,serial number #900x was tickled to pay only $950 for it, must have been some very nice, costly stags.....sold two pairs of non factory stags for $125 each....... 8)
yes, Bob would have liked BOTH guns :)
LOTS of old model Rugers, and hardly any collectors, flatgates for $500 and under , and tricolor LWs , for $500-550 and they were willing to DEAL !!

Hey Ale, we sold the #138,xxx range OM BKH34 for $475, and she was a beauty too.....

Yes, we miss Bob C. at the OGCA, ALL the time...... :(

Man, that 138,XXX was a REALLY NICE gun.

Dan, you gotta quit givin' stuff away like that. Makes the rest of those folks look a little funny.

The stags on 6XXX were nice, but nothing exceptional to my way of thinking. And of course you sold yours while 6XXX was still there when I left.

I always figure Bob is watchin' me . . .

;)

Well I saw the LW's ......they had some condition issues....but were priced right if you need them...

Dan is always the home of RUGER DEALS...I have many of "LAURA's" cast offs in my safe...RR

You got it Radical, in fact , if I recall correctly, she even cooked you breakfast !!

from the little time we had to walk or see ANYTHING and what the folks told us, my prices were FAR below that of any of the other Rugers at the show, in fact my Vaqueros were hundreds of dollars LESS.......had the two 357/9mm convertibles and NO one even looked at either of them??
and the SPs were well below $500, the .22,.38 or .357 mag...... :?
