These birds are very shy and difficult to photograph. We have a great variety of birds this spring. [I do have a Ruger rifle and handgun in the truck while birding so maybe these fotos will be legal on the Ruger Forum] Hehe. Dr.C

He's a handsome little fellow. They must be spooky birds if you have trouble getting close enough to them. Most of your pictures make it seem as though you were almost within arm's reach.

I always like how you compose your shots. Too many people don't understand the rule of thirds, or even how to select the right orientation for a given subject. Your shots are perfect!

Doc C.... Beautiful photo and bird. We've had four pair Rose Breasted Grosbeaks hitting the black oil sunflower for the past week here on the edge of the Atchafalaya Basin in south Louisiana. Not quite so skittish as the Painted Bunting, but close.

Very nice. (just don't use the Ruger rifle or pistol on the bird, DFW may frown on such activity. :) )
