The NAVY SEABEES are 83 today 05MAR25.......my youngest Son was born to be a "BEE"......he was born 05MAR05.

Happy 83rd to the SEABEES and happy 20th to my youngest who is a BEE....aka CMCN .....have a "CAN DO" day Son!

Agreed, Happy Birthday to the "Bees" , as well as you son and thank him from all of us.
My best friend Fred Price was a Seabee, served in Nam was attached to the Marine base up north near the DMZ, I recall it was Dong Ha. never forget they made the front page of the Stars and Stripes back around 1967 when their ammo dump got blown up, he lost everthing except the clothes on his back and his dozer,,,,he cleared landing zones for them of course after they got sprayed with agent orange. yes it killed him eventually, May he and all the others Rest in Peace..........

Here is a Seabee memorial built by members of my Dad's union, the International Union of Operating Engineers. My dad was a member for 50 years and worked with a lot of men who were Seabees. The machine is a Caterpillar D7 with a LeTourneau cable blade.
