Bigger is better?

A female friend who worked in advertising sales had what she called "good selling bras". She only wore them while working. And she swore they worked. ;)
What are these things you call bras? To paraphrase Treasure of the Sierra Madre We don't need no stinkin' bras. :) Just call them boulder holders.

What the study did NOT address was whether D-cups yield bigger tips from female customers only, from male customers only, or from both. Just curious. If (as most of the male participants in this thread would predict) only male customers paid bigger tips, then the "30% more" statistic understates the percentage tipped by male customers. 30% might be closer to 50%, maybe more.

This is all in the name of marketing usage and attitude studies, don't you know.

While in the University, my daughter worked as a waitress at a Chili's Restaurant; She told me the secrets to a bigger tip (She's only 5' 1" tall) was to stand close to the male ordering and bend over slightly (to hear better of course  😉) as you take the order.

That is true. I wear a sizeable D cup and when my first job starting at 16 was as a server I got well tipped, but the odd thing with most knowing me in person is all of them tell that I never learned to be boy, coquette or flirt. I always acted with the same bit goofy and off the wall at time ways as I do now which mostly appealed to customers. I never tried shaking the pom poms in a guy's face or laying on the fake snowjob so customers especially couples liked that I wasn't acting like a flooze and women liked that I wasn't behaving like they were not right there so I showed them respect. I would get a bit silly and fun with them and ended up with great regulars.

"A pair of 44's in a shoulder holster??"

We have a fine gentleman,, a VERY long time collector, and a member here,, who had a license plate that said; "ILUV44S"
He had a few issues getting it as I recall.
He was referring to Ruger 44 Flattops,, while a tag agency thought other wise.

If he chooses to add to this thread,, I'll step aside!

Years ago I had a class and told my students I used a deactivated S&W 38 revolver and a plastic fake semi auto. A female student said "Show me your 38 and I'll show you my 44's!"

Everyone laughed, but when we went to shoot for the competency session I asked her if she had a sweater or something in the car to cover up her... ahem 44's because hot brass can bounce off the booth wall and go somewhere she didn't want, she poo poohed me and I always loaded the first round of their guns (long story for that one) and on the VERY FIRST SHOT the hot 9mm went STR8 down her cleavage, she threw the gun down range, lifted her deep V neck blouse AND bra up to her face and jumped up and down whacking her chest to get the brass to fall.

You could hear a pin drop. She left the range, and found a cover up and we continued the competency session.

A long time ago my cousin got a job as a lunch time waitress in a restaurant that mainly served suited businessmen. She complained to me that her tips were only about $80 to $90 a day. So I unbuttoned the top 3 buttons on her shirt and told her to show a little cleavage. The next week she told me that her tips increased by 2 or 3 times those of last week. Well, that tells you something doesn't it.

gnappi,, I have witnessed hot brass going down the blouses of ladies twice.
Not with the same results as your encounter,, but it sure wasn't pleasant for one lady. The other one was an experienced shooter who handled it extremely well.

But when we are signing up the ladies for our clinics,, Miss Penny always advises them to NOT wear any open front or low cut tops. She allows how hot brass may well end up in a sensitive area.

Now THAT is a funny story!
That happened to my wife one day shooting at the farm. She went to the truck and got a sweater.

Wendy, you nailed it!
In 1988 college I was a cook at a nice breakfast diner, and my girlfriend waitress a nice looking young lady. She did the bit goofy and silly thing with the customers (on purpose) and was always a lady, not sleazy. Made them smile, and good service.

We would go back to her place after the shift, and I helped her count her tip money. Usually $150 USD, cash money. I figured she was making 4X the hourly rate than I was.

She always paid for dinner and beer.
