Big Dot on an SP?

If this has been hashed already, I apologize. Have any of you put one of the Ashley Emerson Big Dots or standard dots on an SP? My wife is contemplating concealed carry, and my SP seems to fit her pretty well. I'm thinking about getting her a 3" SP and then retrofitting it with a tritium front sight.

How do the Emerson sights compare (height wise) with the factory sight? (I'm wondering about POI/POA stuff).
