Best rifle mags

I have heard it said that there is no such thing as a stupid question but Ihave disproved that many times, so here goes: does the mini 14 use standard AR mags and does the mini 30 use the AK 47 mag? Next question, who makes the best rifle mags foe Roger mini rifles and AR’s in general?Thanks.

No.

Both of Ruger's Minis use a Ruger prorprietary design magazine, and none of the after-market magazines are quite as good as the factory mags.

As for AR mags, there are a number of "good" makes. For poly mags, Magpul is one, as is Lancer. For aluminum bodied mags, Brownells are good, and most all of the GI contract makers.

Thank you. With the current Republicans in “control” we would probably do well to get anything in that area that we want. I will have a hard time voting Republican next time but cannot vote dem either. No longer have a party, I am afraid. But I guess that comment belongs in another forum category.
