Bearcat non-wood grips?

Anybody know of decent fitting, non-wood, Bearcat grips? There's a guy on eBay with ivory polymer ones, and mostly good feedback, but I'd like to know more possibilities.

The factory laminated rosewood ones are good. I just like the option of weather-proof grips on a stainless handgun. I think Hogue used to make several Bearcat grips in polymer, but stopped. I emailed them a couple of weeks ago about it, but got no answer.

Bearcat grips ? Yes, here on RF, Sack Peterson does very good work.

+1 to what Sam says. I have a few sets of Sak's grips, one of which is for one of the wifes Bearcats. Fine workmanship.

Many thanks fellas.

I have about 4 of these to do and mail... but actually people don't buy these very often and I wouldnt mind doing more, I have the little panels around. Such has my eye and my cutting evolved over the years that I get a no pith cut for Bearcats. They are like little pieces of granite. In terms of weather resistance, I'm not sure what would penetrate them.

That said, micarta is almost unbreakable. And I've bought Sid Ryan's grips on Ebay before and found them to be a good product.

Your reputation here is sterling, Sack. One day my taste will be less "practical" and I'll get your fine stag.

Your endorsement of Sid Ryan is a help. He also makes a few grips in black polymer (faux buffalo horn), but so far as I know, not for Bearcats.
I've sent him three eBay messages about it, and he doesn't answer them. The black polymer would look very good on stainless Bearcats, and be eminently "practical" and weatherproof.

Micarta would be outstanding, better than polymer. Ivory for blued 'Cats, black for stainless....
