Bearcat Forcing Cone

I read somewhere on this forum once that after shooting the bearcat for a while it loses accuracy due to an issue with the cylinder/gap/forcing cone.

I notice a distinct lack of accuracy with my new bearcat after a little shooting.

Can anyone comment or help me find the original post?

not sure if I had ever heard of or seen this, but like any 22, and in this case a smaller gun,, closer,smaller gaps and tolerances ( they should be the same for either a larger, single six or the bearcats), the 22s can and do get dirty, foul easy,, need cleaning, and if the forcing cone is not of the proper size,depth of cut, may contribute to inaccuracy, so keep it cleaned and oiled, and as often noted, the type,make of ammo will vary ,not only from brand to brand,but "lot to lot" within any given brand........
