We are beginning to look at Spring and Summer travel for the new year.
Anyone have any experience, advice, suggestions for Bear Lake?
I am about halfway through the novel Centennial (thanks to all on the book suggestion) and found the history of Bear Lake fascinating.
Thanks++++++

Bear Lake is COLD all year round even in August. Lots of private shoreline and very few trees. There are things to do especially if you have/rent a Boat. It is a large lake in a mostly sage brush filed valley. For the most part I am not a fan.

Thank you for that. I have been researching it. A LOT of nothing around the lake. Unless you like sagebrush. I do not.
Thank you for your help 👍

Great fishing on Bear Lake, but access is a PITA. Wife and I were gifted a weekend in a Timeshare for our honeymoon almost 20 years ago. Other than that, I have only been to Bear Lake a couple of times in all the years I have lived here.

The Raspberry festival is HUGE, lots of crowds, but fantastic shakes.
