Nice photo! We've got two pair of 'em up here. Been a nest on the lake and one along the river for a while now. Some BIG birds for sure.

I saw a rally big Bald Eagle near downtown KC on the Missouri River yesterday around lunch time

We had a news story on one here in south central KS. I think it was at the raptor center we have over in bulter county (they tend to sick birds of prey). Had a greenish tail and they were talking about it having lead poisoning or something like that. Turned into a big anti run rant.

I love the comment one guy at the center made though in regards to another eagle they were tendign to for gunshot wounds; "If you see a birs with a white head and tail and a 7 foot windgspan, it's probably not a pheasant or a quail". D'uh. Nice pic though.
