Bag-O-Single Six *Update Below*

New project. 9.5" OM Single Six. Missing some parts, Has been converted. I should have just about enough stuff to put it together. That cylinder is not original but fits. Wish I had the original 22Lr cylinder.

You're doing us all a favor by bringing that poor 'ol thing back to life! If it were me, I'd whack the tube off flush with the ejector housing and re-site the front site. But that's just me....

Ooo...... whee........ that poor thing needs some TLC!!

I REALLY like shooting these two!! Your grips can be replaced w/o too much trouble.
If that .22 magnum cylinder fits good then you can use its' size to help you find a
.22 LR cylinder for the gun. I shoot .22 LR's 99.9 % of the time and have my guns
"sighted in" for the LR ammo.

A "current production" ejector system should fit, as well.

I put a stainless grip frame on my Old Model shooter. It makes the gun "balance in the hand"
quite better than with the light weight aluminum grip frame.

My Old Model SS 5 1/2" is a 22MAG only (bought it that way). Never bothered to try to find a 22LR cylinder for it. Shoot 22LR with the Old Model Super Bearcat instead.

Good luck wih your project --- It needs some love.
I haven't used my LR cylinder for years ---- Ever since I found this Mag model. I have other LR dedicated handguns. The Mag is great for my uses (pests like Gophers, Skunks, Raccoons and Rattlers). Mine likes 40 and 34 grain WW offerings.

Looks like all it needs is the ejector bits and a base pin (and maybe a pawl & spring?). You can replace that broken grip panel any time.

After digging around I found enough parts to make it a shooter. I only had a new model .357 base pin so it took a little work in the lathe to cut a base pin catch groove and turn down the shoulder. It will work for now, off to see how it shoots this week. I picked up the gun missing parts for $100
