You know, FastEd -- nice .38, btw -- I'm a big fan of my six-shooter shorties, but I'm thinking five must be enough, statistically speaking, I mean.
I've read that, in a modern gun battle, two to three shots are typically fired. I carry at least six, unless I'm wearing a bottom feeder, in which case it's a few more. But five strikes me as plenty. I carry a little five-shot hammerless & my brother lends me when I visit. I've never felt short sheeted.
I've actually got my eye on a little older blued Rossi 5-rounder (pre-lawyer lock) I think I might pick up if they don't sell it before payday. It would be my first fiver. It's quite slender. I look forward to the comfort.
