AR556 maiden outing

Ran 150 rounds of American Eagle 62 gr. 5.56mm, and 100 rounds of Federal bulk .223 through it without a single problem. The good news is we had no difficulties ringing my metal gong (supposedly rated for .308) at better than seventy yards standing and offhand. The bad news is my metal gong was not rated for .5.56, apparently.

I got my AR556 to the range for the first time yesterday as well. Very happy with it.

My son and I took our AR-556's out yesterday for a bit of shooting. We each have 10-30 round magazines, so, do the math.
