I normally buy CCI large pistol primers but they have been scarce these days, so I found 5K CCI 300 primers and ordered them up.

I've never used this priming system, but it looks like it could be a good system insofar as you don't have to handle individual primers. I just don't have a tool that uses them yet.

Any good info on this system, yea or nay?

I have an RCBS 2000 press with that priming system, and it works great with large pistol primers once you get the timing figured out. Have not had any success using small primers. The only time I use the strips now is when loading large batches of 45acp.
Using the strips with their hand primer or the bench mounted tool should be a no brainer, and you are right about not having to touch the primers.
To reload the strips though, you will have to purchase their strip loading tool, which sometimes makes you feel like you're doing the same task twice.
So now unless I'm loading large amounts of, 45s I do all my priming with a universal hand primer.

Thanks Tully. I went ahead and ordered the RCBS hand tool. I wanted the press mount adapter but it looks like RCBS has obsoleted it.

I had never heard of the APS system until a few days ago.
