a year ago this week, My granddaughter Skylar, my girlfriend Molly and I saw 68 Bald Eagles in one big group soaring in a mating dance along the bluffs on the Kaw River west side of Kansas City Kansas.
Then a week later, Molly and I saw 12 Golden Eagles on Mt Graham down near Wilcox Arizona, they were soaring like the Bald Eagles were in Ks the week before
My daughter had a nesting pair about 1/4 mile from her house in west KCK and they raised one last summer and we saw them all daily,
Here in Crestone Colorado, there is a pair of big Goldens that roost on the rocks high above Crestone and we see bald eagles regularly around the county, especially between Saguache & Gunnison there seems to be a bunch of them
