I saw this posted on another forum. Hoffguns weekend special. They are selling SR9's & some models of XD's for between $299.95 & $329.95. I don't know the details (shipping costs etc.) but it looks like a good deal.

In reality .... that's what ANY of those pistols should sell for .... Glocks and S&W M&P's included ....

In this market, they ARE good prices though, and if you ARE in the market for any one of them, you can't beat the price. Too bad there's not 9MM Springfields included as well. The .40's I've seen, used, and owned have been horrible for accuracy. I'll never own another one ....

Click on their 'Sales and Specials' tab for some other great deals as well. They have MKIII 5.5 inch bull barrels for $299/319, and S&W AR 15/22 rifles for $399 with TWO factory mags and a few hundred rounds of CCI .22's. The AR 15/22 is a spectacular little rifle. They are a real hoot to shoot and very accurate on a true AR platform. I've had one for a few years now and paid the same price back then. Some really good deals this weekend for anybody who has a few hundred bucks laying around.

Already own a SR9 and love it, don't have a need for a second one or any other pistol.

Rev's right about the S&W M&P 15-22, that thing is an absolute blast to shoot and accessorize with real AR platform parts. It's replaced my S&W 22A as my 22LR plinker.

Those are really good prices!

Note that the ad says, "These prices are for in-store purchase only", at least on the longer Specials page. If I were in the market I would certainly give them a call and see what was what, though.

Rev, I totally agree. I don't see how you can charge well over $500.00 for a pistol with a plastic lower, and I sure as heck don't see how Sig can charge north of $700.00 for an aluminum frame one. The best answer I can come up with is simply because they can.

^^ I use to try myself that too...

"If I get this, I won't need another pistol, at least for a long time."

awhile later, "If I get this, then I really I won't need another pistol for a long time."

awhile later... rinse and repeat

I've now learned to be happy with what I have knowing that another will come along before I know it.

Can't conceal carry in this State, limited options for ranges or places to shoot (greater San Diego), not a gun nut. For me, one good HD weapon is enough. I've got other fun to be had with the S&W 22's
