Just curious if anyone has any news from the Tulsa show. Only thing I heard was there were 27 Ruger Displays. WOW! Looking forward to Pictures and Information.

What a pile of NICE RUGERS at the show....RR's RARE RUGERS didn't win anything BUT....
I did win a nice 44 REDHAWK in the displayers drawing :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
As always a great time was had by all....and I did snag a few more C%@Ts TOO :shock: :shock: :shock: RR

So did I miss the pictures from Tulsa? I did see the Awesome No. 1 display pictures but no others. What's up? Top secret? Today's technology I would have thought we would have seen more by now. Perhaps they are posted elsewhere.

gosh, I can remember when the pictures just "rolled in " ( out? ) all during the show, lots of "shots" behind the tables back in the day......hhhmmmmmm

Been there about 7 times! I guess nobody takes pictures anymore.
I was there & alot of pictures were taken I know.
The Ruger No.1 Display took 1st on the ROCS Judges & Joe Wannanacher. I dont remember the Displayers Names that took 1st Intermediate & 1st Novice. The Best of Show & the Best Gun of the show I did not write down.
I won 2nd from Joe W. & the Luger Display got 3rd.
Joe said one of the Ruger displayers was third but he had taken down his display.

Ya Joe makes the displayers wait till 345 PM to award the results...half of the trade tables are packed up and gone by then....the show is over officially at 400 PM but most are packing at 300 PM....
Why promoters feel that a show needs to go to 4PM on a Sunday is asinine....who shows up to a gun show at 330 PM on Sunday anyways....Gotta get that last few paid admissions I guess....4800 x $165 isn't enough I guess....so next year the tables are $175 x 4800....that's a butt load of money...not counting the 50,000 or so who pay $10 at the door....we did get early entry passes this year as a displayer which should have been done years ago....but that is another story....then what about "phantom tables" ....the guy is a genius....RR

yeah,, and then it "rubs off" onto other venues ,like the OGCA and they feel they can jack up the table prices, ,pure BS........................... :? :roll:

Just wanted to see some pictures. I realize the show will be covered in ROCS but just thought we would have least seen the display pictures posted by now.
