I could not out shoot it with a 10/22 we went 10 for 10 at beer bottles at 106 feet and he never misted. If i had a bigger clip i could have wore him down on all the cocken he had to do.17 cal shot like a dream .I to was doing 10 in a row but found it hard to cock with my bad rid cage. I was hurt for a week after shooting it and i only cocked it 2 times.WAL MART $89.00 COS THE BOX WAS BENT UP.

Please tell me that you didn't leave the broken glass from those beer bottles on the ground.

He probably left the lead from the bullets in the ground, also.

What is this world coming to?

.

I got one about 3 years ago, when they were "on sale" @ the local BassProShop.

Mine's the wood-stocked version, which came with a 4x scope - that I promptly sold to my doctor, who wanted to scope his .22 rifle.

It shoots plenty good enough with the issue fiber-optic front/rear open sights at the backyard ranges/distances I use it.

IMO, it's a bit tough for a youngster to cock - but then, I'm far from a youngster.

How do I shrink the pic down?

The photo was already small enough. My computer just automatically sizes a photo to the page it's put on. I saved your photo to my desktop, then uploaded it to my PhotoBucket. Copied the image to this page and it came out sized correctly. Or it seems to be correct when I view it on my computer.

WAYNO.

For some reason, on my computer, the pic is oversized. As long as it's a normal view for everyone else.

I know it's on my end, This is why I let the wife post my pics for me.

Thanks for the help.

My Ruger air rifles are made in China. Not sure by who.

Who makes this gun for Ruger? It does sound like a nice backyard shooter.
Made in China. They do a lot of copies of the higher-end air rifles. For example the Ruger Air Magnum rifle is a China copy of the RWS 350 Magnum.

I have a glass catching target at 106 feet from my bench.
Heres picture fron the bench. If i can get to my photobucket i will post the new 1 i got made setting in the drive way. old cattle water troths.Glass falls in the tub , most all of it. If you are shooting a ak there ain't no glass left to worry about.

NOT the bench in the picture the second picture were the charger barrel is in the shot.

heres some from this spring i had not planted the tree with the targets yet
sorry got doubles some how but there still mice to look at..

this will have targets all over it when its done,

Great looking shooting gallery but I have to ask---did a fire run through the area or is that just the loss of leaves in the season change??? It really looks like a fire swept through the area. While we loose leaves out here, we have enough evergreens to at least keep the forest green year round.

that was rite before spring 2014 thats what it looks like here that time of year, but a lot of that range is only a year since i excavated and has not got grass and the bank has furns on it that catch and hold the leaves on the hills.
the 1 picture with the tree laying on the ground before i planted it is funny,i was under a roof on a super sunny day and the trees have shadows that make the color weird.

My grandson has one of the Ruger airguns. It IS a tack driver but will wear you out cocking it. (Sarcasm font on) BTW, when did Ruger come out with a clip for the 10-22? All I have ever seen are magazines. (sarcasm font off)

Mike thats been a debate for years clip mag.in a marlin 25 it is called called a clip fed not a mag fed.and in a AK its a mag. i call it a clip cos it clips in and out. if its a mag to you i agree if its a clip thats fine too.

if you say the thing that holds the bullets then thats wrong twice. :D

I find in different states they say it different, some say 22 shells some say bullets i say shells.never herd anyone say 22 cartages.and a bullet is just the projectile in my mind. I find it easier to just let people call it what they want in the 22 but in a ar or ak it is a mag not a clip. I bet you knew what i meant so it worked. You just like to :P on me that all. :D
but the cocking of the air rifle is to hard for my broken up rib cage i cant do it. Is cocking the rite word for that function, sounds dirty dont it. :? i had to tell my friend cock this thing for me. everyone would laugh when i said it for some reason :P
