Just picked up a Security Six Sunday and will be getting a GP-100 6" bbl Stainless sometime today. right now it's sitting at the post office waiting on the postman to deliver it to my FFL agent. When I get I gotta' hide it I've bought 3 guns this year. I'm gonna' make this a New Years present to myself. :lol: Not even going to shoot it. I got some hiviz front sights I'm gonna' put on it and then store it away. I just don't want to hear her mouth. :twisted:

I too picked up a ner GP-100 to go with my LCP & SR9c.
(With in the last two months).
Had to have a wheel gun, they JUST work!

Do yourself a favor, Inform her up-front as to the purpose and then go get a little part-time job where you can work during a time that she is normally asleep. Yes you will loose a little sleep, but it's over rated. Just a few hours here and there. Keep good records as to what you make and what you spend it on (RUGERS) and enjoy the hobby, , , , WITHOUT the SNEAKee !!

Yep. My wife is the 'chief financial officer' in our house. Sometimes we can afford it, sometimes we can't . Wouldn't have it any other way....

Luckily my wife supports my gun addiction, she talks me into buying them. Honestly :lol:

Trying to convince me to buy one I like but really have no use for right now. Better go get the newspaper and see if he sold it yet.

Don't try to hide it just bring it in and show her your new gun. Get her a good set of earmuffs and some 38's and carry her out to shoot it. After a trip or 2 she will like shooting then the door's open for different guns and you may find yourself a new shooting buddy. Women are usually pretty good shooters.

Well, actually that can backfire as I learned many years ago. I came home with a new used Bearcat and told my wife (now an ex), "Look what I got for you, honey." She didn't appear overly grateful, and the next weekend walked in from shopping and said, "Look what I got for you, honey" and showed me the new, very expensive dress that really busted our budget back in those days.

As we say in East Texas, stopped me from sucking eggs.
