Betty White passed away peacefully in her Los Angeles home at 94 years old. She was pretty active up toward the end. My mother loves watching her on the Golden Girls (replays).

Social media had her dead earlier this year, but it was a hoax. I find no newer substantiation that she is gone now, either. I hope this is also a hoax.

Her Wiki page still has her listed as alive. I'm leaning towards a hoax or a rediscovery of an old hoax.

Well, apparently you can't believe anything on FB. At 94 it seemed plausible. I'm with you Wayno, I hope it's not true.

Hi,

Everything I can find points toward a series of hoaxes concerning Ms. White's demise. At least one of them headlined "Betty White dyes today!" in reference to the fact she'd been at the salon having her hair done! :roll:

Personally, I'd love to see her make at least 100!

Checked the news feeds and they say hoax. One said the rumor started because of an article about her dying her hair...not that she died.
