Another old model in the stable

Found this un-molested old model .30 Carbine today! I know it's not the right grips, but it actually had a set of Pachmeyer rubbers on it, so at least it looks better than it did. First .30 Carbine I have ever owned. It shoots like a ray gun. And I really don't feel like it was any louder than a stout .357, despite what everyone says. On the look out for a decent set of grips for it.

It was mostly the military surplus 30 carbine ammo, which has mostly dried up at this point, that was responsible for the loud report/fireball out of those Blackhawk's. I shot up a BUNCH of it back 30-40 years ago.

I left a post on your WTB in the classifieds, for exactly what your looking for but if your gun is from late 71-72 I have a set a squashed birds too.

Well not sure all of the 30 MIL surplus has dried up Got a couple of full cans around the house
