Had been long time since I had posted and I couldn't activate my old Id. But I'm back again at the tender age of almost 73! Been a Ruger user since 1968, when I received my brand new Ruger 10/22 Sporter for my 15th birthday. I still have that rifle, and it is still a tack driver...I can only guess at the literally tens of thousands of rounds that have gone down its barrel since January, 1968. My favorite Ruger is my KMK-514 Mk. II pistol. My opinion is the 5 1/4" tapered target barrel makes for an incredibly well-balanced pistol. Also have a stainless Mk II Standard with a 4 3/4" barrel that was a retirement gift from a fellow Air Force Special Operations aviator friend, upon my retirement in May, 1993. I have a Mk I Standard with a 6" barrel that I picked up for $149 at the Cabela's in Buda, Texas about 4 years ago! In addition there is a Ruger Wrangler in my unsafe that sees quite a bit of use around our place here in South Central Texas.

It's good to be back!

Howdy, nice rugers you have there, some of my favorites! You can’t go wrong with those. I actually have a ‘68 Sporter. The first Ruger pistols through the end of the Mark II series are my favorite.
