Watched an episode of Swamp People the other day. One of those gator hunters had a chicken cannon he made out of PVC. He used it to spread small pieces of chicken around to attract gators. It had a barrel of what looked like 3" pvc with a chamber of what appeared to be 6" pvc. Sorry, I'm not up to speed on pvc sizes.

Anyway, he shoved the chicken down the barrel and this larger firing chamber had a screw in breech plug on the end of it. He unscrewed that plug and sprayed the chamber full of some aerosol stuff. I forget what it was now but it was some common flammable stuff. Then he put the breech plug back in. Now, what I thought was a pretty neat idea...he had one of the twist flint strikers like they use on Coleman lanters mounted in the chamber. To set it off, he just gave the thing a twist and BOOM, chicken parts everywhere.

Saw a potato gun similar to this once. They were using common hair spray as a propellant and really getting some distance with it.

Sorry, he was shootin' chicken parts so it was a chicken gun.
Sounds like it was a chicken parts gun.

Cary, I don't think you have enough to do. Maybe get back into grip making?

I've got some rams horn and some other nice stuff and I have been wanting to make some grips for my own guns. I just can't seem to find time to do it. Looking out the window this morning, I need to get on one of my tractors and run the landscape rake around again.
